Default Pennzoil air cooled, what percentage?

Do most mix this oil at 32 to 1 or can you go to 40 to 1?

With a new engine, I prefer 32-1. Also some engines call for that ratio. More oil tends to give more power they say. With lite to moderate loads, 40-1 should be ok. Capt,n

The advice Cap'n John gave you was very good. Ask the engine mfg. to be sure. They make the engine. I know Brilelli said 32:1 or 40:1 for break in. Then I think he said 50:1 is fine.

Opinions are like @#$%&*#$, everyone has one.... heh heh.

I've been using it at 50:1 in all my lawn equipment for years. I used it at 32:1 in my G26 Zenoah for about 2 years and at 16:1 in my G51 SuperTigre for about 30 hours. Both engines looked VERY good on tear down after using the Pennzoil. I have since switched to using Redline Racing Two Stroke oil in my plane engines and I am still mixing at the same ratio in all of my engines which now include a Saito 91 running on the same 32:1 mix as the Zenoah. (The lawn equipment is still on Pennz) I have had ZERO engine problems on any of my equipment, lawn or aviation, while using either of the these fine oils. Pennz and Redline are two of the cleanest running oils I have experienced.

What I do:
32:1 for break-in
40:1 or 50:1 thereafter.

Or you can stay at 32:1 forever with no harm done.

Never exceed 50:1

I use it at 40:1 in everything without a problem.

Testing at 50-1 has worked out extremely well.

I like 32:1more oil= more power and protection,,,,but I see no problem at 40:1 either.
