Default How to remove a G45 crankshaft????

I am taking apart a G45 to replace bearings and seals. It had a spring starter on it. I removed the spring and bearing a while ago when I installed electronic ignition. The metal collar that the starter bearing rides on is still on the rear of the crank. What can I do to get it off? It needs to come off to get the crank out of the rear case half.

Got the collar off. Had to heat it up and use more pressure than I was. It made a loud snap when it popped off. I though I had snapped a screwdriver in half!
