Default xxx-nt dont move

hey, my friend just finally finished breaking in his xxx-nt sport and he was doing some wheelies. about 5 minutes later, something weird was happening. if he gave the car hard gas a strange and loud grinding sound would come out. clutch is good, and sometimes like if he revs the car up and my foot is in front, the car wont move at all after unless we give it a little push. the dogbones or CVDs look pretty good. could it be the drivetrain?

If the diff came loose or needs adjustment if will slip and could melt the diff gear in the first 2 min. of operation. If you are new to RC, cars with a ball diff are not a good choice for your first car.

The Losi carbide ball diffs can be very touchy. If they are adjusted right and properly maintained, they work great. If, on the other hand, they loosen up, or are re-assembled wrong (grin), they can melt in a second. I forgot to put one of the washers in the thrust bearing, because I was in a hurry, and I melted the diff gear in under a minute. Rebuild your differential. The diff gear is only $3, and while you have it disassembled you will get a feel for how it works, and how important it is to keep it tight.
