Default ZDZ plug cap

Can the plug cap on a ZDZ 80rv ignition be replaced and if so where? Thanks Gary

That is one of the problems that the ignition has had in the past is the cap would fail, I don't know if the cap can be replaced or not but try and give RC showcase a call, I know a lot of people are changing there ignitions over to the RCxel because it can be done cheaper than replacing the stock ignition.

I called C.H. IGNITIONS and they have a replacement cap that is made more like the DA cap just have to get a new plug and not cut the tip off. I have one on the way. thanks for the info. Gary

NGK BPMR6F is what I use. It is the same as with the ZDZ cap just don't cut off the end like you do for the ZDZ.

I have replaced the plug cap on my ZDZ 80 and it works great! $15 is much cheeper than a new Ignition.
