I have a nitro truck on order ST-10), would a 2 speed tranny be a "must have" purchase?
Im kinda thinking about picking up a tuned pipe as well, but wasn't sure if the 2 speed is really necessary.
Also, how does the shifting occur, from a 3rd channel or after a set speed? From what I have read it shifts at a certain speed (liek a centrifical clutch).

Go for the 2-speed and the tuned exhaust. Both will increase accelleration and top speed. Also, I think that the shifting can either work by manually shifting using a 3rd channer, or it can shift after the engine reaches a certain rpm.
