My vxl system in my slash vxl(1/10) will not set from training mode to sport mode? first off i put the transmitter to 70/30 then i hold the button on the esc,it stays green, then stays red, then blinks red once. once done it flashes green? then if i set the transmitter to 50/50 it goes back to training mode after the red blinks once? what the hell is going on?

why are you changing your transmitter from 50/50 to 70/30? That does nothing to the programing of the ESC. Pick which trigger position feels best to you, and leave it there (either 50/50 or 70/30) Then you have to re-calibrate the ESC to the throttle positions (see the manual). Then you can change it from training to sport or to racing or where ever you please (again, see manual). I think what's messing you up is you're changing the trigger position, that isn't necessary to program the ESC....

Go thru the manual word for word, again. If you dont have the manual you can download it from Traxxas. Man............those VXL ESC's are really not doing well, Traxxas should have worked more of the bugs out. My neighbor has one...............problems quite often.
