Just a word of advice, you get a lot more money if you sell parts individually. Otherwise that would probably go for around 120-150 i think. You could probably sell the chassis independantly for around 50, and the sidewinder for around 70 and the motor for around 50. Each tire set 5-10 dollars independently. I would look around ebay and see was things go for to set prices on your parts.

funny thing about these "whats it worth threads" Is that the number people state is always way lower then what i ever see people asking for them etc. i wish i could find Rc's at the prices people say they are worth,Everybody always wants top dollar for them.

RC's are typically worth abour 1/2 of what you have spent on it. Add up the cost of everything you are selling and divide by 2. That will get you pretty close. If you get anything above that consider it a good deal.

Yes that is true. When you want to sell something you should have a number in mind that you actually what to get for the car. Then place your add for more than you actually expect to get. Lets say you really want $200 for everything. You should place you add for $250ish. This gives people room the haggle. You want $250, they offer $XXX, you counter offer with $XXX. Eventually you'll meet somewhere in the middle and everyone's happy.
Every once in a while you'll find someone that just buys it outright for the asking price. This is rare but it happens.
Also don't be afraid to say no to an offer if your asking reasonable. I just sold an E-savage that I had posted for 6 weeks.. I kept getting low ball offers but eventually someone came along that was willing to pay what I was asking.
