Does anyone know where I can get a used Dark Impact Shell for my DF-03Ra?
I am going to mount it on the inside of the Subaru body to prevent a lot of debris from flying into the rig. Also anyone know a good/cheap waterproof ESC?As far as waterproofing the RX I think I might have to balloon it right?
Thanks!

your's didn't come with one?
according to tamiya they supplied the dark impact bodies with df03ra kits, but only the kits who's bodies would allow enough clearance for the dark impact shell to fit under it.
for example the 94 celica does not come with one but the older subie does. i'm not sure on the newer subie hatch though.</p>

Oh I purposely ordered the 07 Subbie as I hate the 08 STIhatch but loves the performance.
Yeah from what other posts have been telling me the dark impact shell should fit inside the DF-03Ra if you have the 07 Monte Carlo WRC
I am also thinking about getting a basher body from HPI but do not plan on changing tires/wheels. 190mm HPI bodies are a bit wider so it might look funny...any suggestions or experience?
I am thinking about the old 97 Subaru Impreza HPI body 190mm

For the water proof esc are you brushed or brushless? If brushless look for an used AI series, the entire line is waterproof. Or a used XL5 would work.

I plan on running brushed all the way....I got my sprint 2 flux for brushless and my mini e-revo for brushless....the rally car will be waterproofed and I don't want to ruin a nice BL motor so when I screw up the brushed motor I'll probably throw in another cheap silver can with decent pick up....not looking for top speed runs just good acceleration.
