I just ordered 2 hobbywinner 2S1P 5000 packs from hobbywinner.com for $38 each!
I figure it's worth a gamble. I try it in several vehicles and evaluate them compared to my Maxamps 2S1P 4000 packs ($98 each)
I saw the as in RC Driver and figured why not.

Once I gather test data, I will post it.

maxamps sucks, the hobbycity lipos are good though too, and simililarly priced. You might get better shipping from you're place though, where are they located?

China. Like I said, I'm not sold 100% but I thought why not. Be bold, be daring, right?

What don't you like about Maxamps? Just curious. Mine seem OK but they are my first lipo experience.

I'd be interested in hearing your results. They have been emailing me quite a bit lately (spam) and of course you wonder if the product is any good. The emails are all broken english so I was hesitant.

That's common. I worked for Hitachi Metals for a couple of years and Japanese language doesn't translate well. I imagine Chinese is similar. I will post the results.

1st one charged without issue. Second charging now.
It's raining so the test will have to wait.

AWESOME. I am not sure if the difference is age (Maxamps about 18 months old) but these outperform hands down. I will gather test data this wekend.

Would you please tell me thename of service representative from Hobbywinner you contacted with? We have many batteries shipped to US recently and the batteries are working great. So you may definitely believe on us and it will be a good start.

Feel free to let me know if you have questions or if I can be of further assistance.
