hello everyone...okay so ive been looking at the mini slashes and the mini revo and wondering how good of a truck/mini car are they......ive seen that they can go 50mph which is very impressive for a mini but my only thing against buying it is its dam battery tray.....its very small cant fit a bigger battery, possibly not a lipo...which makes me mad and you gotta buy the extra 6 cell battery thats only like a 1500mah which doesnt have mich runtime....so really how good of a truck is this? any problems youhave with it? thanks

the motors are smaller, so the smaller batteries give comparable run times. They do make lipos small enough to be used with them. The mini revo is much more popular than the mini slash >bigger tires, wider stance.
There is also a mini section, you might get more input over there.

I've been lookin around myself to see if there are batts that are better that would fit in the minis. The standard 6 cell mini pack is 94mm long, 34mm wide and 17 mm tall. I have found a battery that would probably fit, i usually find a way when its this close. Its this lipo, you can put two in and run them in series for 11.1v and 3000 mah for decent run time. This lipo is 100mm long (6mm longer) 34mm wide (same) and 21mm tall (4mm taller) ..........its so close, a few mm should be found in there somewhere........right?
