Default Can you charge Lipo under 1C

I have a Team Orion 2S 3800mAh Lipo and that the back of the battery, it says DO NOT charge battery at less than 1C or more than 2C.

Does that mean I can not charge it at less than 3.8A.

my power supply sucks and i can only charge it at 3.0A

You'd probably have to find out what the author meant. I think it is just fine to charge them as slow as one wants.

I charge my lipos at slightly less than 1C, (0.9C) and you'll be charging at (~0.79C). I did my first few charges at like (0.8C). I've seen no ill effects after....5 cycles, lol

i charge my 5000 25c at 1 amp sometimes, it just takes a long time to charge . i think it took almost an hour at 1 amp. i would call them and find out , maybe its because some chargers as default have a timed charge for lipos. one charger i use has a time out time at 120min just for safety .
call them, it couldnt hurt.

Would it not take 5 hours at 1 amp for your 5000mah pack? just saying.

if it were comletly dead yea , but i have my lipo cut off set high and it usually takes an hour. i also dont wait for the cutoff to tell me its dead too , i usually after 15 min running i ballance charge them back up. the 5000 i use are only for racing, also as the heats are IFMAR run so there not that long on the battery between heats

I was thinking the same thing, it takes me about an hour or so at 4A on a 5000mah.
