I have the Ofna Hyper 7 TQ sport. I am wanting to convert to electric. Does any one have a good kit out that is tried and trued? What will the acceleration, braking, and handling be like after the conversion? How much does it cost?
Thanks

Novak has complete conversions - HV-PRO (BL motor & ESC, cooling fans, battery trays ect) for about $300 or so. I think that the motors are in tke 2500kv to 3500kv range.

I don't know of they make one for the Hyper 7, but check teknorc as they have a lot of kits for many of the buggies/truggies out there right now. If they don't make a complete kit, you can always just pick up the motor mount and battery tray and see where it fits best on your buggy. If that doesn't work out, I'd go with RCM (rc-monster)...similar idea...see where it fits best. But if you don't mind drilling into your chassis, the Tekno mount is more secure. I've bent my RCM mount on hard impacts. But RCM stuff is good.
As for electronics, there's tons of options. Just search around.
