would a duratrax evader be worth 20$ no speed control

it's only $20. i say it's worth it.

if it has everything but the esc then heck yeah its worth 20. you could have a descent beginner rig for under $50 by the time you buy an esc

i was thinkin bout usin it for a project what would i need to upgrade to drop a velinion in it?

If you want to turn it into a high power brushless car I would not use an evader.

I would buy it for $20, even it you didn't end up using it you could part it out for more on eBay

i run an evader on a vxl and 3s, there are several cheap tranny upgrades
if it is the ST model you can get an associated b2 gear and rings and a nitro
alum idler and she'll be pretty strong. if its the EXT the steel traxxas idler fits
and usually bearings throughout helps.

there is some debate on this but the ST is a better truck. alum shocks, bearings everywere
adjustable ball diff all that is definatly worth more than 20 bucks!

mine will be sporting a 4s lipo and the vxl motor soon. they can handle power they just have
to be setup and adjusted correctly.
