Default DF-03Ra Dust Cover?

Anyone know if the DF-03Ra kit includes a chassis dust cover, such as the TB-01's came with?

Mine didn't come with one, I have the 08 hatch back, but I read that the 07 model does. The info is off a forum so I have no idea how true that is or not.

The '94 Lancer kit comes with a Dark Impact body to use as a dust cover. I believe that is the only one though. Look at the descriptions on Tower, they usually tell what comes in the box. Rcmart also has unboxing pictures and videos that show the Dark Impact body with the Lancer and none of the others.

Anyone ever figure out a way to keep the dirt and rocks out? Man It was like a buck of dirt and rocks came out after a run on some hard dirt....Also some rocks got into the steering and jammed things up [:@] I emailed outerwears maybe they can sell me something.

If you can find a DF-03 body that can fit perfect right underneath any body. I have one on mine. I go rally racing on beaches, volley ball courts all the time. And occasional rain runs and mudding.

Dunked it above the roof several times too since I waterproofed it.

Found it off eBay....or you can use a milk jug and cut it carefully. Make sure to leave the back end open for the motor to breathe.

Yeah seen that and searched everywhere for the Dark Impact body but no one makes them anymore. I am sure you can buy it from overseas but I can't see spending $20.00 plus on shipping. I'll end up making my own "outerwears" type cover.....some breathable fabric and Velcro should do it.

Took an old nylon/ polyester shirt and made a paper template and boom! Custom "Outerwear" type cover for my DF-03ra chassis. No more dirt/rocks and the material is breathable. I did leave out a section for the motor so it could cool and ran a pice of duct tape on the underside of the cloth so the driveshaft would not suck it in. Everything is held on by Velcro for easy removal. I'll post some pictrues today when I get home.

Here are the pictures... I'll add some more velcro to seal up any gaps but a mini test run worked great. Problem solved.
