Well I've heard amazing things about the new & cells, but they are too much for me right now. If your solely a basher then you might as well just go 8 cell, since it'll be faster and what not. Assuming your set up can handle the 8 cell...

Hitting the shift key produced a "&" when you meant a "7" im pretty sure.....................the eight cell will give you more speed, but there are not alot of stock ESC's made to handle an 8, an XL-5 can, you need to check the specs of your esc.

I know the & mistake
anyway more info.....:
Difference in handling: not much, just the extra weight of the 1 cell + more power
weight: 1 NiMH cell difference
etc: might need a better charger, might need better ESC, might fry your motor faster (titan 12T is only rated at 7 cells), runs hotter

I believe that a onyx 220 can handle a 8 cell.
EDIT: just noticed the title

Here's a motor you can run..................i've had a few of them, they're pretty decent and they are rated for 8 cells! This should "Speed the Pede"
Length: 2.26" (57.5mm) (can and endbell)
Diameter: 1.42" (36mm)
Shaft diameter: 1/8"
RPM: 25,300
Power: 144w
Operating Voltage: 4.8v - 9.6v
