For sure! I had a spare VXL in the drawer so when my LHS was clearing out Pedes I snagged an XL5. Brushless is a blast but don't forget the other things you might need; larger capacity batteries, possible charger, and drivetrain upgrades. If you already have higher mah batteries, I say go for it and run the car.

depends on what you want to do with it,or are expecting out of it. if you are looking for all out speed,by all means go for it. just remember some basic things. if your tranny doesn't already have the stronger gears for the vxl and such,be prepared to replace parts soon. also, plan on stiffer springs for your shocks as the extra power will add squat, which means less steering/more bite. and most of all, definitely learn to make changes to your driving style. your truck will look cool as hell streaking past you at a high-rate of speed, but, when you inadvertantly run in to things, now you break parts alot easier. keep all these things in mind when thinking about dropping that kind of coin, just because you think your truck just has to go faster.

Im kinda looking for a new car all togeather like a brushless buggy, but it just costs so much. I dont know what to do....i already have a eoso606i lipo charger and im addicted to zippy batts...so that comes cheap. Its just between hopping up my rustler or getting a good handling fast buggy that will be good for dirt tracks.

If I were you, I would invest in getting a brushless ESC for those Zippy packs that you own, which by the way are awesome batteries. I just received a Zippy Flightmax 4000Mah 30C and I absolutely love it, so I can relate to your addiction somewhat, lol. I currently own the Turnigy 60a ESC from Hobbyking and I love it, especially the low price of $56, but with the performance of any of the top of the line speedos. You can either get the Turnigy 60a or the other ones that I'm about to list since they are all the same, except that they have different decals and color. Hobbywing 60a, Yeah Racing 60a, speedpassion Exige (Don't buy that one actually, considering the price is doubled because of the name speedpassion which people have become familiar with) and I think there is one more that I'm missing on the list, but nonetheless they are all the same and are actually made under HobbyWing. Good luck.

Well, the choices are ultimately up to you, but I don't mind helping you out. First off though, your rustler is more of a truck and to my understanding your looking for a buggy. Good choice considering the handling characteristics are much better than that of a rustler. You won't be tipping over much longer when you make the switch. Oh wait, I'm thinking of the stampede, lol sorry not much into traxxass myself personally but people like them which is cool. So whats your price range on how much you can spend?

I am looking into $230 or around there. Just to let you guys know im a kid and my mom asked what i wanted for my b-day so. Is there any brushless buggies i can get for around that price. Also if i did get a buggy i would sell my rustler,2 3000mah batts and profet pluss charger.
