Is this the one you're looking at? If so i somehow dont believe that is a true 540 motor............scroll down.......look at the side pic of the motor, with those big fins taking up 2-3mm on each side that would make it about a 28mm dia. can.......which would make it a 380........i dont know, i have shyed away from this motor for this reason and went with Sidewinder/4600kv combos. They are only about 30-40 bucks more and they are high quality, with great performance.

I reccomend that you go with the sidewinder 4600kv/5700kv its a great ESC and Motor. If you want more juice in it, go for a Mamba Max Pro with a 5700kv motor. Only problem is that the Mamba Max Pro is not out yet. [:-]

The .5 turn motors in the Ezrun series are true 540 sized motors, like the 5.5,8.5,13.5 turn ect. The 9 turn is a 380 size motor.

This combo is $20 less and will be better for offroading.....................easier to gear. IMO the 4600 is the best motor, lots of torque but can be geared taller if you want extreme speed.

They were on sale yesterday if you were lucky enough to find a place that had one.[:-]

If you wanted you could buy one from Castle directly, you'd just be paying retail price.
