An 8 cell pack will be a significant increase in power when used on a similar set-up as a 6 cell pack. sorry I can't speak to the specific cells themselves. My standard battery pack for many seasons was an 8 cell sxs pack and I was very pleased with them always.

Whatch what you put that in, I have a Stampede and my 9.6v <8 cell> battery fried two Titan 550's. Just a warning, I finally took a cell out and turned it into a 8.4v pack =/ and bought a Method R, and Co27 motor for both my pedes =)

If I were you, I'd just save my money and buy a Lipo pack. They're not as expensive as they use to be when they first came out. There are too many benefits not to switch from Nimh to Lipo. Just a suggestion.

lipo are way better, even the cheap hobbycity.com ones.

I've had 2 packs of the Ener-G 4200 cell, I only had one cell go out on me, and I got it fixed for a small fee. They worked well and still work, but they are not as good as the lipos I have now.
