ok right now i have a rusty, im getting pretty board with it..
for those of you that OWN a sc10 or a ofna crt .5: do you like them?
i really want a 4x4 but i dont wanna pay 350 bucks for a slash 4x4
do you guys like the ofna crt? are they durable as the traxxas products?
ive owned a slash, if i bought a slash i would buy the chassis and all the parts to convert my rusty to a slash
does the crt have same gc as the rusty/sc10

The CRT.5 is fun, I have one, and it's a good platform for big brushless motors if you like that kinda thing. If you decide to use 2.2 rims and tires the bell crank or servo saver arm is a weak link and there is no known upgrade without serious modifications. Another trouble with the crt.5 is it's hard to find a race group. The class boomed and busted faster than any other class I've known and now people that have them mostly use them for bashers.

Great for the backyard track. That's where I drive mine and it owns. It uses 10th scale buggy tires, so expect about the same clearance. Like said before, you can go bigger. I've driven 10th scale ST tires on it and it did well.

never driven the Ofna CRT.5. But between the Slash/SC10, if you like bashing, go for the Slash. If you are more into racing, maybe get the SC10

I have a Mini Hyper STe (almost the same as a CRT.5) and with a 5.5t Brushless system and 2s LiPo its a potent track car . Handles just like a bigger 1/8 truggy and very tough too .

still had the stock engine.
