Battery
My battery seems to charge pretty fast on my Prophet Plus charger. I charge it at 2 amps. When I drive it in my pede it goes fast for a few laps then just dies. Is my battery shot?

This is the key: the charger delivers 2000 per hr. You are operating on the top portion of the battery or the bottom portion. If you charge it fully and use it you'd think it was a brand new pack again.

Is the battery New? If so it may need to be cycled . You can also be getting a false peak from the charger, not allowing it to get to full capacity. Try running it till its dead than recharge it .

How long does it charge? I'm thinking that you are using only 10 gallons (of a 33 gallon tank). Your battery should be just fine for a regular pede, if it's the vxl then maybe it's getting worn out and damaged.
To cycle a battery one must complete discharge and charge it (not in that order)
