hey, i have a duratraxx evader and im scared to put brushless on it without upgrading the gearsw in the gearbox to steel. are there any other rc trucks/ buggies that have the same gears that i could buy steel parts from?

Find the thread named T.E.C. and talk to those guys. Some of them have had good luck modding the gearbox using Associated parts. I personally have had nothing but trouble with BX pro and EXT. I did the Diff upgrades etc and still stripped the diffs and idler several times before giving up.

Check out thetoyz.com for parts. They have alot of aluminum and steel pinions for duratrax products. I know they have them for the detta line and even the mq.

people have run 3s on the stock gearbox with proper adjustments, but i think its safer to just get teh full upgrades its like $25 and you'll have a super strong tranny
