if u want fast and your somewhat new get the vxl rustler. if you race then an rc8te/ other 1/8 scale with a mamba monster and a brushless motor. or a xxx-t/t4/other and a brushless combo with lipos and you will be hitting 40-60mph depending on exactly what you get.

but how much do you think with the batts and charger..$125 maby?

take a look around, theres 40 dollar lipos,

you can get a really good charger for 80 and a lipo for 40 like he said. you can get a cheap charger for like 40 bucks if you want though. if you want speed lipo and brushless is literally the only way to go.

Oops let me clear up what i mean. To get the money to buy the buggys. How much can I cell my rustler for with batts and the charger.

Rule of thumb, half of what it cost new IF it's in really good shape, less if it's been beat on. I have seen so many post's where they say you make more parting the stuff out, and tryin Ebay. Best bet would be to try an trade some one. Doubt you find anyone to go from LiPo to Nimh though..
