POWER EXPANDER PRO & JR
I'm running a 2.4 gig JR 9 channel Receiver with the PE.PRO and I was wondering if the signal from the receiver is modified by the PEP
or does it just get channeled to the boards outlets. I'm using HITEC7950's and I'm trying to find preventive measures before I put the aircraft in the air. SETUPIS: 2x2s Lipo's POWEREXPANDERPRO JR RD921 9 channel 2.4 gig Receiver 10 HITEC High Voltage 7950 Servos Plus throttle and Engine kill. Any advice or pointers would be greatfully received. RE: POWER EXPANDER PRO & JR
Hi Rachael,
The PowerExpander Pro only buffers the receiver signals. It does not modify them in any way. Is this what you were asking about? |

ORIGINAL: rrritchey Hi Rachael, The PowerExpander Pro only buffers the receiver signals. It does not modify them in any way. Is this what you were asking about? I put a request on the JR site asking for the signal voltage from the RD921 but it wasn't answered. I don't know who the JR rep. is on this site as there are a couple of posts but not answering the question. I am just trying to avoid the jitter problem associated with 7950 servos when run on Lipos. RE: POWER EXPANDER PRO & JR
Hi,
Yes, most of the PowerExpanders do increase the servo control signal level to 5V. The only one that does not at this point is the Eq10. The Pro does. |
