Batshare fail open,closed?

Does the Batshare fail allowing current to flow or would it fail open

Hi,
This is unpredictable but chances are it will fail open. There is just no way to tell with semiconductors. There are two independent circuits in the BatShare, one for each battery. The chances of both failing is extremely small.
