Default rtr 32" d/f mono

Hi all i have noticed on the delta force website that they do the 32" mono cyber storm in a rtr version.
Does anybody no if this is new out? and are they available to buy anywhere as i havent seen it anywhere,
and would this rtr version be any good? i have tried contacting d/f but have had no response.

They sell direct to people and will get back to you eventually. It is fairly new, very nice I would say!

Nice outrunner!

This RTR would be great. I have a DF23 on the way to me right now. I have seen people run the DF23 with modded motors and it is stable as a rock yet great fun and the finish is very nice too.

Quality components but, not outrageous in price. The hardware is beautiful IMO. It will cost you a fair bit more than the copycat "Pursuit" that you can get at HobbyKing but, it is better quality 4-shure.

Cyberstorm & Pursuit are almost identicle.

I just built up their DF29 hull which is awesome, I noticed that it is no longer in stock in any store and that it is no longer on the DF website either. I think the DF 32 may be the replacement hull for it. I'd have liked to get another DF29 hull in the future as it's a nice length for an EA mono.

Yes that DF 23 is a nice looking boat and very reasonably priced i thought. as for the pursuit 32" i have seen
this on various websites called diffrent things, the external hardware looks ok but its the internal hardware that
worries me, i dont trust those cheap turnigy motors.
As for the DF 29 it would be a real shame if this has stopped being produced, from what i have seen of this in
action its a great hull. they havent had any in stock on ose for a while..

I got the last one off OSE. I hope they keep producing them. They're so easy to set up fast without tabs & fins too. They're a great hull to upgrade to from an SV27 using the SV27 bits & pieces.

I'd like to see some race vid of the 32" hull, the only vid I've seen is on the DF website with one boat on a small pond with flat water. I'm sure it will handle chop well, their other hulls do.

You can get a Pursuit from Jan at Kintec Racing. He's a cool dude to deal with. Comes with a Leopard 4074 2200kv and a seaking 120. Also comes with a .150 3/16 flex. The one at hobbycity has that god awful 2 piece 4mm drive. I will say the hardware is really nice, and boat handles on rails. I know it's my first post here, but I mostly hang out at OSE. I myself ordered the Pursuit from Jan before it came with the leopard and seaking. It was the same motor/esc hobbycity has which is a FSD motor and suppo esc. I'm running a leopard 2200kv in mine and im using a seaking 180 esc and a .187 3/16 flex. Boat handles realy nice. All the wood trays inside need to be renforced and also the motor mount as well.

Yes the kintec version is much better, i was looking at getting the hobbyking version as i already have the
motor and esc so would replace that on arrival.
I see that kintec do a replacement flex cable, do you no if this can be swapped straight over replacing the
two pieace 4mm drive shaft and prop shaft? or is it more involved than that?

Here are some pictures to go with the setup for my Pursuit.

I am running the following:

Motor: Leopard 4074 2200kv
Batts: 2x 4s 3600 30c in parallel for 4s 7200mah
ESC: Turnigy/Seaking 180amp
Drive: .187 flexcable 3/16 drive
Prop: Octura M445 S&B
Servo: JR
RX: Spektrum MR3000

* all the wood in the hull MUST be re-inforced!!!! Ask me how Ifound that out

I don't have any video on this yet, but this boat really handles well. You can see the old stock version when it was a suppo esc and a 540xl motor prior to the new setup Jan is offereing. The new setup is far superior but the old video can be found at the bottom of this page http://kintecracing.com/Pursuit.html

What runtime are you getting with the leopard? Thinking either that or a castle is a similar setup, little shorter hull not d/f or a copy it's something older. A conversion of one of my 3.5 nitro boats.

Ionly run all my boats between 3-5 minutes depending on OAT. After a 3 minute run the motor is nice a cool. Leopards are really nice motors. Ihave the 1774kv in my 29" cat and it runs so cool and efficient. Ilike the leopard motors!!!

Have to make sure it can run heats, you mentioned your pack size, 3-5 is perfect, don't want to be hitting LVC halfway through the last lap!
Been hearing great things about the leopards, have yet to actually see one.
Finished a nitro build a couple weeks ago, time to finish other projects that running them got in the way of!

Rumor I had is company that makes the Cc/Neu motors is who makes leopard motors. I willsay without a doubt they are a crazy bang for the buck. With the crazy CC sell I did have to buy a 1512 & 1518 lol. Nothing beats the real thing!

Here is video of my leopard 4074 1774kv on 4s with a 48mm prop. www.youtube.com/watch?v=spPr80I-kpA
The 1774 has a very high pitch whine that sounds really really cool. The motor didn't even break a sweat swinging that 48mm prop. Once Istick my x447/3 on this cat it will be a winner!

Nice! Very Nice!
I really like the fact you showed it turning at speed. Too many videos show a boat screaming by slowing down to nothing to turn around for another screaming pass!
That handles very nice!

Thanks...
I was pretty much WOT thewhole time. I only let off for a quick second when I seen the boat getting to loose crossing it's own wake. For the most part though 99% of that run was full throttle.

I emailed offshoreelectrics asking if they were going to stock the d/f 32" rtr when it comes
out, and steve said he will be and it should be available in around a month. that was 2 weeks ago.

Hi, you may contact us for details. In fact the hardware is not ready yet. We only tested the sample for further modification. If you want to get the gelcoat version it could be faster in shipping. tks Delta Force Hobby.
