Is that really how its going to come from AQ? That theme is horrible!! Looks like something you would find in a cheesy Hollywood novelty and souvenir store. Sooo many OSR teams out there and they pick the one with the corneyest paint scheme......Arrrr, matey! Where's my eye patch? lol[:-]

It will be the 6 pole 1800kv (SV27R) motor and the Aquacraft 60amp (ul1) esc. At least that is what Grim listed a while ago.

I ran a prototype last summer and was impressed. Not as pretty as the MG, the hull should be a little bit stouter if the production run is like the prototype. The AQ 1800 motor is a good one, a simple prop change got me into the mid-40s with premium cells.

I was sold on this boat when I saw the first pictures of the development hull. Now with this theme, it's a home run (IMHO). The Motley Crue theme will be a nice addition next to my 5150 themed stripy SV27.
Tower Hobbies' estimated delivery date is early April - unfortunately their dates have historically been a bit optimistic. That's fine though, it gives me time to clear out some space and for the ponds to thaw.
