ORIGINAL: Got RPM
Well actually it was stock when it ran that fast, except for the prop. I was pitted next to Brian when he ran it through the traps at 65 mph. But you'd never run it that way for more than 60 seconds or you'd burn something up - that was a SAW-only setup. In reality the UL-1 can run near 50 safely with everything stock but the prop and connectors. I ran the prototype Motley Crew into the high-40s with just a prop and connector change.
I agree.. my UL-1 runs lows 50s all day....
And that 65mph UL.-1 is sweet!

So, not in stock form as the prop was set up for SAW racing... Come on folks, its BS comments about speed claims that get people PO'd when the read that a boat will do 65 mph (without any extra details about who was running it and the experience they have tuning props etc...) ...then they buy the boat and it doesn't do anywhere near the 65 Mph that some "some guy" on a forum said it would.
