ok guys. i ran it today.in a small pond in the bottom of a church.
i was filming and my buddy Derek Osborn was running mine. The ones that keeps hitting the was was his sons.
they run very good and very fast. Both boats were on 2 cell lipo, stock 280, and a 10 amp SUB micro esc.
sorry for the bad quality video.
VIDEO COMING ( 10 mins)

judging by how fast the wake was forming, i would say its a pretty quick boat....(if i could see it it would be better to tell)

Taylor I included a photo of my Hard Drive BL motor. They must be re-wound and the magnets must be changed out for much stronger ones. I believe I re-wound mine with somewhere around 22 gauge wire and 11 turns. I swapped out the magnets as the ESC does not work properly with the weak ones at higher speeds. Diagram is included as well.

My hard drive motor was most likely wound different then. When it was revved up it buzzed and bogged down severely. Some of the aero guys showed me a web site that helped fix this problem, I was unsure if you tested or not.

Does the motor have a ring magnet?

In the bottom of a church? I figured RC boats were a religion for you.
