Well my receiver is messed up on my stock radio so a friend loaned me a monster truck radio and receiver and It wont do anything! My old receiver... only cannel 2 works and I can either use steering or prop... not both. What radio can I get used or something? I dont have 75 for a new one.

On your reciver swap the two round just make sure the Black/Brown wire is the outer wire closest to the edge of the reciver (your reciver channel should look like this (...) the dot on the far right is where the Black/Brown wire goes) thats all that can be rong with it if this dosent work take it back to your LHS and they should replace it under warrenty atleast the model shop i work in dose!
Hope this helps

[:@]Well I hooked it up like you said... It kinda works but its messed up again. Throttle is back to normal but the steering turns as hard left as it can to the point where im afraid its going to break my rod or w.e you call it. and if I turn it in either direction you can hear the pressure comming off slightly but not enough to turn AT ALL

This sounds like a battery problem like not enough powers getting to your servo is it a nitro boat or electirc other than that it could be a Faulty Servo or reciver
Hope this helps

This is a common problem with any proprietary system of any kind. It doesn't necessarily follow any particular 'standard' scheme except for the manufacturer's. Keeps 'others' from using -their- system for a cheaper radio, sort of.
There are two solutions, change to a 'standard' system, or find out exactly how 'their' system works and make it work. Both have disadvantages, time and learning, or money. Take your pick. There ain't no 'free lunches', but sometimes the 'price' is sort of variable... kind of.
Good luck.
- 'Doc

(If you can get 'them' to tell you exactly how 'their' system works, and it does, count your self 'blessed' to have been present during a "miracle"! Most manufacturers ain't gonna tell you...)

Im unable to run my motor to be honest as I have a crap SV27 that Ive been trying to get running for over a month now, despite Aquacraft support helping me its still not running, but the Futaba handset does turn the rudder no probs just as the stock radio does so i see no reason why it wont work fully.

What wires?

I have an intermittment problem with mine, its nothing to do with the radio for me anyway, sometimes the motor runs sometimes it wont & ive had this problem since day 1 of receiving this boat, getting pretty peed off although aquacraft think its the esc & are sending a replacment out its taking weeks.

Im 6 weeks into my 90 day warranty, almost $600 out of pocket & im still to see this boat run for more than a couple of minutes! [&o] maybe i just was unlucky and just got a dud but im really not impressed with my SV27 at all!
