Default Aquacraft Mini Rio

heres a sneak peek at Aquacrafts unreleased Mini Rio, little brother of the Rio 51

I got my hands on it for RCUniverse review; its tiny as heck and should scoot.
Specs will be up on Tower Hobbies soon, I cant say much about it, sorry.

that looks good! dual rudders is cool.

Webdr, When testing the boat, Would you be able for us . . me LOL to take off the left rudder and run it and see how it handles with just the one rudder?
thanks or get a video as well?

Are they made of the same cheap lexon as the v and the cat? That stuff sucks for boats, it's just to thin/weak. IMO!

Oh, thats right I don't know what I was thinking? So is the abs hull on this boat pretty durable/thick? I think this is a neat looking little boat. I bet it would be a better hull then the mini-v and c. Plus it doesn't have the stearable outdrive BS that comes on the pro boat crap. I wonder how much these will cost?

yeah no steerable out drive is a good thing. AQ knows how do do a good boat

On tower hobbies website it is listed as 89 bucks. I think thats pretty competitive

AQ knew what the public wanted and in abs to-boot. That is one sharp cookie and with the season just around the corner, the timing was perfect. I hope production can keep up the supply. People are cutting back on alot of stuff but at this price , i got to have it idea, i can afford it, just alittle hop up and that's it.

Looks like they thought this one out more than the others. If you go to AQ you will see they have 2 screw down water tight compartments than the hatch goes over that.Looks awsome can't wait to see a vid on it soon. I have a Cat that is brushless and I might go with this for fun and reliabuility.Time will tell.........

In about 4 weeks I'll get to see one in person as so will Taylor as they should have them at the Toledo show. If Matt doesn't show more shots by then I'll get plenty.
For a street price of under $90.00 I might have to pick one up myself!

Hey Ron, How's it going, haven't talked to you in quite awhile. Sold the WHH Pro some time ago.Pond got smaller and didn't want to risk damaging it.I got into the FE craze with a cat that I am setting up.It's in my gallery but haven't got it running yet. I also have been looking at this new AQ Mini Rio it looks like a neat little boat. Just waiting on some video to see how it runs. I guess it's too cold to run it in Atlanta to get us a video right now from webdr? It's still cold here in Delaware. Well take care,Rick
