Show me one a boat where you don't have to tape the hatch, My SV leaks if I don't tape it so this is no different than anything else.
As for the weight distribution, I run a converted Llumar 4s on and the pack is further back, on top of the radio box lid. It flies and handles the weight in the aft nicely. The new Elam has them further forward so that should not be an issue.

Another case of someone basing their opinions without trying the product first. Until you have it and have run it, please try and eliminate the negativity.
