Default DIY SV27 rollover cowl idea

Hi all

I'm tired of throwing a tennis ball everytime I play my SV27 and/or with the thought that I may not go back home with the boat if it flip.....

I've seen a rollover cowl for the SV27 and was thinking of making one for myself using pool noodle.

Basically it would be a piece of pool noodle, shaped and taped to the hatch. I can tape it when the water is rough and when the water is smooth I can run the SV27 without the pool noodle....

Has anybody done that before? Any advices/opinions/suggestions out there?

Probably it would look unaesthetic but at least I get to go home with my boat.......

Cheers

JC

Hi JC,

Would adding a floodchamber be a crazy idea...?

Regards, Jan.
