RE: ABC HOBBY CESA 1882 Project
That should be a fun project, i love doing stuff like that. So its a CESA 1882, or are those just decal stickers? The reason im asking is that it looks exactly like an NQD spurt. Even down to the little black front canopy holders. Heres a pic of the spurt:

Hope you have fun. I have a spurt that i put a Graupner 700 8.4 BB in and run in on 4s lipo, it really cooks.

About the same boat as the Super Hawaii.
Use to own a Super Hawaii, had alot of fun with that boat.
Put 2 outdrives on it and 2 SV 27 power systems in it.

Its the ABC hobby version
The same thing as the Super Hawaii
I have the dual brushed motors in it for now.
Everything liquid cooled just need to finish up the wire job and a few other odds and ends and it will be ready for action.
I will take pics when I have it all finished.

Boat ran for 7 minutes and blew the main gear out of it.
On the shelf it goes till I get to it for some major work
brushless conversion will be the ticket for this hull.
It was awesome the few minutes it ran!

Thats great! I used to have a Super Hawaii knockoff. I had a 700sc, with Stinger strut and speedmaster rudder, and a Jeti esc. That thing flew. I used 2 8.4v packs on it.

I just got one of these boats for my birthday. The boat was used, so I don'r have any instructions. I am wondering did your boat come with the anttena. How do I get my radio antenna higher in the air.

NOpe
But I would have if the project was to go on
Cut a template for the transom and cut a piece of wood to fit redrill all the holes after it is siliconed in.

Im just keeping in mind that brand new Super hawaii's go for just over $100 on ebay.
Brand new as in, brand new in the box, not assembled.
The boat you have is a Super Hawii copy which brings it down even more as far as the resale value goes for it.

RE: ABC HOBBY CESA 1882 Project
Hello, I built one of these Cesa 1882 aprox. 20 years ago. I used it a dozen times then broke the plastic prop. After not being able to find the correct prop for this I stored it away. Just yesterday I pulled this out of storage & i'm interested in getting it going again. I'll buy new motors and batteries and probally a new radio but I need help finding a prop. What would you recommend?
Thanks

One of my first boats. Ripped the gear drive out and ran a 700 8.4 on 12 cells direct drive. Was pretty fast for the times!
