lookin good! I had one of these boats, wrecked it though attempting to make a fiberglass one from it. it still might be fixable if i could get all the white lithium spray grease off and the plastic unwarped. post a vid when ya get her wet!

i have one of these too..been on the shelf and will be dusting it off and converting to brushless. it came with dual motors and back in the day it really hauled *****.
the hull,as i recall is thin polycarb plastic, super thin, quite flimsy, i dont recall installing any strings, my dad and i built it together long ago.
point being: id be cautious when upgrading for fear the hull just would stay in the water or would contort under torque.
..but hey. you guys are the pros. truely enjoy all the enthusiasim for this hobby here. its informative and entertaining.
