lookin good! I had one of these boats, wrecked it though attempting to make a fiberglass one from it. it still might be fixable if i could get all the white lithium spray grease off and the plastic unwarped. post a vid when ya get her wet!

I have the same boat and I am planning on a rebuild. What advice would you give me if you were to start over?

Thanks

i have one of these too..been on the shelf and will be dusting it off and converting to brushless. it came with dual motors and back in the day it really hauled *****.
the hull,as i recall is thin polycarb plastic, super thin, quite flimsy, i dont recall installing any strings, my dad and i built it together long ago.
point being:  id be cautious when upgrading for fear the hull just would stay in the water or would contort under torque.
..but hey. you guys are the pros. truely enjoy all the enthusiasim for this hobby here. its informative and entertaining.
..

This is an old thread but I've got one of these on the shelf too. I wonder how many are still around.

I had one of those once and sold it to a couple kids. Now I would like to get my hands on another one.
I have a Zipp Kits JAE 21FE and a couple BBY Oval Masters but I would like to get another MRP Fountain just for grins and giggles.
