6s + x437? anybody know the specs on the esc? pretty sure that puts you right around 33,000 pretty close to a 2300 on 4s just a lot less heat
45A esc, same one they use on their other boats

looks like that would be the first thing to go then, think the motor could handle 6s?

6S? on 30 inches? No I doubt the ESC would handle that much push.

I know the stock esc can take 5s and I've seen these motors take 6s

i guess i shouldn't tell you i put 6s in my sv today then.( not that i was able to get on it with the water conditions) I think the hull could handle 50's which is what i'd be going for, 6s on 1500 kv still sounds like a smokin fast set up to me, only 70 bucks for an esc that could handle it. either that or the ul1 motor on 4s, maybe 5. One thing i'm wondering after today is... is this hull going to split at the seams like my sv is. I have two cracks running up port and starboard sides of my sv after some particularly hard submarines and a couple of 2+ ft of air launches.

the stock esc can take 5s for Proboat and I know on my SV to, I've gotten 50mph on my SV running 5s
I hope this hull is built better than the SVs and I'm sure they are

you hitting 50 with the s220? too bad i turned mine down to fit my jet, i was running the 40-53 from aquacraft today, also have tried the x642 ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93ufEkudcKA ) wish i still had that prop in good condition, might try to make it work but i'm missing a lot of toungue so the bottom end is going to be pretty horrible if i can pull it off, also have a x437 and x440, it was too choppy to try the 437 cause it cavitates a bit but when it hooked i pretty much had to back off cause i was already flying all over the place, will try next time i have some good water. My stock sv esc is no longer with me[]

careful. Prop from a big nitro is likely not ideal for the little brushless beast. Do you know the specs of the TC prop?

Could I find out what props work best and what size lipos are you useing just got mine yesterday. I see if you are going to use lipos you need a programing card . Why not just ship the boats set up for lipos proboat.Need to see how your boat stand went together Mine sits on the boat funny

Guys, there is a real problem with the new Miss Geico cat. Apparently most if not all the boats shipped so far have the wrong flex cable. It has the wrong rotation, and if you run the boat the cable will eventually fail. HH will replace the cable, but it may take time so you can get replacement cables from other sources. They are holding further Miss Geico deliveries until they have the solution. Don't run your cat unless you replace the factory cable with the correct rotation cable. Too bad for what is otherwise a great boat, but it is what it is.

Hi guys
I ran my miss geico this weekend. first run was on nimh 4600. it ran well. then I ran back to the hobby shop for the programing card so I could run lipo's??[>:] ran my one set of lipos, man it fun. fast and stable. so by then my nimh were charged stuck them in, did a quick power test everything worked. dropped it in the water. zup, nothing. fished it out. tried it again. everything worked ok. zup. nothing. so guess what. once you are programed for lipos your nimh will not work. you have to reprogram for nimh???[:@][:@] I luv the boat. but this is pretty cheesy!! I hope there is an easy fix. anyone got some input. thanks craig

I have the right flex in stock. Yes they put a RH cable in it so it will unwind. It is a 150 cable with a 3/16" stub.

Out of the box speeds for me were 34MPH, after some strut/CG adjustments and a Graupner K45 it went 38MPH. This was with a pair of Hyperion 2S 25C 5000MAH batteries. I see you're in Michigan, you should come out to our next club race on September 19th in Shelby Township. Our website is MMEU.com, racing starts at 10AM.

I think you will find that is the case with pretty much any esc out there. Nothing you can do about it but just leave the cutoff off and monitor the time yourself when you run lipo.
