Default Miss Geico 29 Pro Boat

Anybody seen this boat yet? Awesome looking boat. 45 amp esc seems a little small, but boat seems to run pretty good in the video. Will be looking forward to some reviews. I have been wanting to redo my TC31 as electric, but this may be even better.

You could put a bit more power into your cat, so I've seen.

I'm not big into speed. I currently have a 26" mono that I could stick a 4s battery into, but I totally prefer a 2s. I like going slow.

Haha I know. But I usually run my boats on a lake where the water is super rough so like just flooring it on the 2s and just bouncing over the waves. I would be airborne with a 3s or 4s.

Hi gents,
I just bought one of these but.....
Apparently the driveshaft can fail so Pro Boat will send you a replacement free.......I'm waiting on mine.
She's had her bottom wet twice and I can empathise with the go slow folk in here. The actual process of getting on-plane is real pretty. To watch that transition from tail down to plane with really good acceleration without further throttle input is well worth the go slow approach.
Unfortunately, mine has a problem electrically...I either have an ESC problem or questionable batteries (new ones...!!...) 'cos she'll cut off and I have to desecrate my Rio EP as a gogetta.
Have another try tomorrow.

Saw this boat run at the MMEU http://www.mmeu.com/ race today.
It seems to run/handle fairly decent.

Better rudder set-up:

Thanks for the comments and replies.
It has that crazy bounce stock and that was the first run Iever did. The factory battery trays are not in the right position. They are a little bit to far foward and hull trys to unload and load alot and gets that bounce. I moddified the battery trays and extended them aft, moving the batts back further eliminated the bounce.. I don't have a new video of that though.I also added telemetry to my Miss Geico allowing me to get a real time temp reading from my esc directly to my tx and im working on installing the telemetry rpm sensor to also get a real time reading of loaded rpm. I just have to figure out how Iwant to mount the the rpm sensor. The spektrum sr rx's have a very very short antenna and Ihad to make a rx mount and attach it to the battery tray extensions so that Icould get the antenna out of the hull. Also with all my rx's with exception to the spektrum mr series rx's I waterproofed the rx's. Here are some pics. I really do like this boat. So far it is the best RTR I have owned.

The image MsDarla posted with the rudder stand offs in place help elimante the bounce as well. I don't think I want to go that route though.
