was wondering if any 1 might have a good idea if a <span style="font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: larger;">Leopard 4082 Motor 1550 kv paired with a 125 a esc running 6s 30c on a 440 prop 3/16 flex in a 30-36 inch hull hydro or deep v would work or would i be better running 5s 30c ? am i going to fry something quick ? could it possibly handle up to a 635 safely ? im still trying to figure out good setups aspecially figuring esc amps i have read to many articles and posts and my brain is steaming lol.

A 6s setup for a 30" hull is a lot of power. You could easily get away with running 5s or 4s. At 36" a 6s setup will be sufficient.

The leopard should handle 6s at 1550kv. You can start around 37mm for prop and work your way up if you don't feel comfortable. As long as you follow the guide for your [link=http://www.radiocontrolinfo.com/ElectricBuild/pre-testing.html]First Run[/link], you should be fine.

Leopard offers a 1450kv version which will allow you to spin a larger prop.

Big motor, small esc. Basically your not using the motor for it's worth, you have a motor with a whole lot power and running very small props on it.  Take advantage of the motor and grab a bigger esc. That motor in anything less then a 36" boat is kinda overkill. A 4074 would get buy in most hulls 30-34". just my 2 cents</p>
