Here ya go.
Free plans. A few others too. Just scale them up to what ever size you are after.

ML Boatworks also make kits in a few different scales if that helps. Here's the 1/10 list. The Oberto appears in different incarnations there as the U-2, U-4, U-6, U-40, & U-88. Which one were you planning on doing?

All the best.
Paul.

MLs hulls have also been improved over the Frank plans, the running surfaces have been redesigned to take into account todays more powerful setups.
There is too much lift in the older hulls from when the boats were designed to run much lower speeds on heavier batteries and brushed motors.
More modern designs have different angles on the sponsons and different angles in the air trap section of the hull to lower lift and help prevent blow overs at the speeds we're running.

Here's a 1989 Dave Frank 1/8 scale hull repowered with an electric motor on the way to dominating the 2012 NAMBA Electric Nationals. It was driven by Brian Buaas to first in 1/8 scale and T sport hydro. It also holds the two lap records for those classes. SeeElectrifying Adventures in
Scale and It's the Breaks for more information.

Freddie.
You will note that on those drawings, there is a difference between the sponson bottoms & the air breaks. That drawing has the boat set up for right hand (clockwise) circuits. Some true scale classes run Left hand (anticlockwise) circuits. You will have to check with the guys or club as to what rules you might be running under. Even if it's just a fun club, you all want to be running to the same guide lines.

Thanks Mike.
I actually found myself cheering with the crowd, the first time I watched it.
It's not really off topic & I'm sure Freddie will forgive me if I post it here for his viewing pleasure. Right Freddie?

This is just to show you how you & your mates are going to be racing your hydros in Hawaii.:D
