Got a ? for you out there.I am in the process of twinning a cat.What I trying to find out is;with two esc 2-6 cell lipo can I run a 6 cell on each motor.Or would that be overkill. Thanks in advance

As long as you have 2 high amp esc's and a boatload of batteries I don't see a problem!

Thanks for getting back to me.I am also not sure whether I should go parallel or series.

I would go parallel to lower the amp draw on the batteries.It must be a good sized boat to handle all that!

Thanks for the info.The boat that I am twinning is the Genesis.Just waiting for the props,as the ice is off the lake.

Try the search function,the Genesis is a mass produced boat so there should be lots of info as thousands will have ran this hull with twins.

Hi Sporty;
Since you have recommended going parallel on the twin;would you know where I can get a parallel setup for two motors I do have a harness that I am not sure if it is parallel or series.I will post a pic later so that you can see what I have.I have never posted a pic before and not sure how to go about it.Could use a little help;hint,hint.
