hey i own a sun dancer by pro boat i havent used in at least two years or more i recently deceided to use it so i took it out of the closent ang i was missing the controler, and battry and all the parts were unmounted i took it to the local hobby shop for the repares i got it back to day charged up the battery and took it out for a test run the boat would lunage as apose to run smothly it was stop and go near the end of the run i got it to start to run smooth i dont know wut is wrong plz help

If you weren't have any radio interference problems. Your motor could have been a little dirty and corroded or even a loose wire could be a culprit. I would open it up and put a light oil on the motor bearings and grease the stuffing tube. As I am not familiar with that particular boat I can't help by telling you how to do it. Other than that if the problem goes away with a little more use then great. If not then it might be time to put in a new motor and prop shaft. good luck

radio interference problems = glitching. I have a few questions. Are you running an AM or FM radio? Did the lunging get worse as the boat got farther away? Did it get worse as RPM's changed? Did it change the longer you ran the boat? Was the motor hot (can you hold onto the motor for longer than 5 seconds)?
