New prop for blast

I ordered the prop & shaft combo for the blast from Funrcboats.com. This upgrade does a great job solving the cavitation problem that this boat can have. Your better off with a carbon fiber prop though, if you don't want to spend time sharpening the metal one.

Octura x430....

I ran this prop with the outdrive all the way up. Boat gets on step without having to nurse the throttle. I also was using a 16x2 trinity motor with the water cooling head for the esc. I'm going to try the 19 motor I had in the boat before for comparison. I feel pretty confident that performance will be about the same. If a person could run 8 cells on this boat that would probably make a bigger difference, but then the boat will weigh more. The design of the boat has it's limitations.

Thanks for the prop info . I just got a X432 for one of my other boats so I'll try that on mine .
