Hammer servo reversing?
According to the manual if you click the servo reversing switch, the motor should turn in reverse. However when I do this, the motor simply bursts into hi-speed, then I've found I have to squeeze the trigger almost all the way to get it to reverse. For example if I am stuck and want to go in reverse very slowly, I cannot do this. Is this a bad motor/control or is there some adjustment I can make.
Also just to report, I just got done with my very brief 1st run of new Hammer EP. Very nice, however when I got back to the house I noticed blood all over my finger. I think I cut myself on the prop?! I had to pull a bunch of seaweed from it several times because it kept slowing down. I didn't know it was possible to get injured by a RC boat :) |
RE: Hammer servo reversing?
Hi
You shouldn't need to reverse the switch on the controller. Just push the trigger forward to reverse the motor. You aren't in a whole lot of danger with a plastic prop and so low power motor. Now if you had a good sharp metal prop and more power then, you really need to look out. n.h.schmidt |

Duh. Thank you. I figured it was something obvious :)
