jet vs prop

Which is better for a mad brushless setup in a 100mph+ boat
A jet unit or prop drive?

H_L ,
Jet drives tend to be slower, less efficient than prop drives, unless they are really over powered to start with. So, I would think that using one in a "100 mph" boat is sort of a waste of time, unless you really plan to 'over-do' things - LOL. But then, a "100 mph" model is sort of pushing the envelope anyway, you know? At that speed, how would you keep the intake in the water? That's not a 'joke' question, I honestly can't imagine it...

Its' like people think it's relatively easy to go a 100 or over, get to 30 then call us

Yes I know 100mph is very fast for a boat to exceed these limits you need like 30-40v and a motor with a couple of thousand watts, your right about the intake some boats the only thing that touches the water is the prop and the hull skims randomly on the surface. I’ll stick with prop drive
Thanks anyway
