Thinking of a sv27

Hello,
I have just recently subscribed and I used to have a villain ex (modded) Im thinking of a sv27. My lhs has a red one (does anyone have pics of a red one)? I am so used to the villain acceloration that this boat is no whare near. This boat in my opinion flips wayy to much.

1) What prop will keep stock speed but eleminate any cavatation?
2) Can someone post pics of a red one?
3) Whats everyone's favorite color?
4) Does anyone have a web site with a yellow in stock?

Thanks everyone,
Look foward to seeing you around the fourm.

Click on a few SV27 threads and there are pics. I remember seeing red a few times.

The props of choice right now seem to be the 440/3, CarbonFiber42, CF45, X/M445, X/M447, X642, and CF48. Migt be some others, but these are the ones we've been seeing the most talk about. These will all significantly increase stock config speeds from 30mph up to 42mph. Also dependant on the type of packs you will run. Cavatation and the amount of cavatation will be dependant on the setup and prop. Remember, cavatation isn't necesarilly a bad thing. I advise you read through the forums and see what's what.

The manual, which I think you can look at from Aquacraft, also lists recommended props.

Welcome to the threads. You'll have to search online for the best price.

I like the yellow SV. The color really snaps in the water.

Maby some links? I am new to all of this and have only read a few of these. Im leaning to orange. Maby yellow.

Thanks for the input, blackjack it looks to me like the boat has an obvious flipping problem. I dont think getting faster speeds would help that out too much. I have heard the most about acura x440 and prather 220. Just what Ive gathered from a few threads. Yellow seems to be the most popular the orange really stood out to me, well I guess thats more of an opinion than anything. Its defentely between those two.

Thanks
Travis

This will get you started. While you're waiting for the SV, read up.

Also, the flipping problem you mentioned is from bad setups or over driving. The tim tabs on the back of the boat will help fix this along with strut position.

Also, since you have ordered one, start posting your questions in the SV threads. That way questions are centralized. We're all more than happy to help. We were in your shoes 3 months ago.

Later.
