Roger, just a side note. You may want better than 10C batts for that setup. 10C is very low these days and will be right on the limit with that setup. I'd suggest getting 15C or better.

I would go atleast 60A continous to make life easy on the batteries. I just built a TS2 electric on a lower from Fullers. Check out these threads.

yea but its 140 abit pricy imo i should be able to pick a kb cheeper and iam capable of moding it so it will hold the bl motor. but ive gota find one iam emailing some blokes now see if they have a spare i know that dave from spp had one fs for 45bux but its sold now [&o] meh ill find one might take abit longer tho.

4000mah 10C cells will be able to supply 40amps (4000mA X 10). 4000mAh 15C cells will be able to supply 60amps (4000mA X 15). The SV setup draws around 40 amps depending upon prop and voltage. Using a higher C rating battery allows you to draw more amps from the battery and stay within the safe operating range of the battery. A higher C rating pack will hold its voltage better and have a longer life. Using packs to their limit of current rating shortens their life. The best packs have C ratings around 30.
