Good.
Please see the Super-Vee 27 threads that we already have as there are already too many. Thanks.

I've heard two stories where the ESC let go with 14 cells (IB4200WC's). But there alot of folks running 14 of the 3600's. There's a great video out there of a SV on 14 3600's with a CF48 prop. Let's see.....
here it is! My favorite SV video I think. That's the way is should run.

go back to around page 8 of this forum and you'll start running into a lot of SV threads.
I was surprised to find them that far back!

I run 14.4 volts with 4400 batts with a minimum of a CF 48 with no problems at all. It's on the edge of control, so you have to keep close tabs on it. I have even run a 51 prop. It's insane.

We ran 2 8cell packs once to see what it would do but only for about 3 minutes. :D
It was pretty exciting. ;)

When I first bought my SV27 I ran it on 14 cells because I like to ride the edge, the motor fried within the first 2 runs. I sent it back and got a new one 3 weeks later. Then The new one started smoking on about the 4th run. It still runs but I don't think that stock motor likes 14 cells. I have since bought a new Feigao 12L from offshore which was recommended to me by Steve. I haven't installed it yet but it's supposed to be faster. I will see before the summer is over.
