HELP mounting motor and esc please!!!!!!
 

Hi guys thanx for reading, anyways i just got an rc boat as a gift for chrimbo. I decided to strip right down to bear it the nqd 757 high wind. the reason was so i could upgrade with an esc and faster motor and add a rudder system. i have got all parts now and i dont know how to put them in hull. i am a complete novice with boats. i bought an motor mount but it does not line up with holes in boat already. im really stuck someone pls help!

man i could explain two ways of mounting but i dont know what the inside looks like . but you could look at the tread on the boat heres a link .

thanks for your speedy reply dragonfly i was just looking at that. i think im gonna get some wood and just screw down to exsiting holes and the that will give me a flat base to choose places for everything. i think i have bought the wrong type of rudder can u tell me which i should go for and any info u might think will help

what kinda rudder did you get . make sure you water prof the wood . i didnt do it on a servo mount and the wood split in two under the stress after it had gotton wet .

just one from the local model shop but its nothin like the ones i see on here i need to get on that come away out do the come as kits like with the strut brace and all conections and silly question how do you waterproff the wood and will all the electrics be ok i thought the inside would be watertight sorry what kind of glue do i get to waterproof the prop holes?

even watertight your still going to get some water in over time the wood is going to suck it up . for filling in the old prop holes just use some epoxy. go to http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/categories.php?cat=17 youll find some nice rudders here
