The reason for all the brainstorming is (1)reliability,hp big blocks last maybe 1 season. (2)more simple power distrobution-wires and coolant lines. (3)turbine power to weight ratio.big blocks with drives weigh @1200lbs. each.I really couldn,t scale up a brushless motor?

Not sure what you mean "big-blocks" last one season. I have a Pro-mod Homelite 30cc engine from 97' that still runs very well in a 47" boat. It has hundreds or runs on it, sometimes running 30-40 minutes at a time...

hes talking full sized boat, not 90". Like 427 chevy or 502 merlin etc etc...

ahhh, gotcha.... as I don't consider 30cc a "big block", my bad... :)

When your ina hobby forum you tend to think in its scale not a full scalers thoughts on big blocks but us hobbists a biggie would be 30cc or 50cc or whatever you gassers run as a Big Block
