Nice Riggers?

I was looking to get a Rigger and was looking at this one... http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...igged-insanity is it any good or what are some other options? Thanks.

I am building the Rigged Insanity model and everything is going together verygood. I think the newer packaged kits will have the better updated instruction booklet.

First time out I plan on powering it using the Traxxas Velineon 3500kv brushless motor, hydra 120 esc, and 3s power.

Very nice, I was thinking about a Feigao 7XL or 8XL with 4S 5000mah PolyQuest Lipo, 200A ESC. What do you think? What are you going to use for Hardware?

I've personally raced against the designer of the hull and I can assure you it performs excellent. This rigger can easily get in to the mid 50mph range with a solid motor system and setup. THe biggest advantage I see with this hull is it can handle shop very well. As a comparison it handles chop a lot better than the SV even though the SV is much slower.

A 7XL, 4s LiPo and castle 120A ESC would work great.
Be sure the 4s LiPo consists of 2 2s packs wired in series. This way it will fit properly in the hull.

OSE recommends Solinger hardware which is what I have purchased: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=sol-hydro

Solinger recommends Hughey .125 flex cable with .130 teflon tubing: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=hug-e1067

solinger will work but is on the small side for the 7XL on 4s.
