Ding in Hull

OK - I just checked and sure enough that plastic coupler/drive dog (piece of junk) bounced off the bottom of the hull when it broke - The hull is still sound although the paint chipped off a tiny bit on the bottom - Should I put a drop of Xpoxy Finishing Resin and sand it down good - or what is recommended - Thanks - Steve (I also posted this to my other thread regarding the lousy plastic drive part - (a correction to that post is - the dent in the ceiling was from something else)

If you use epoxy and use high grit sandpaper I think it'll be just fine. Just make sure that it'll be nice and smooth cuz its on a running surface.
